Twenty years before publishing the general theory of relativity, Albert Einstein imagined what it would be like to ride alongside a light beam. Even in his childhood, he was a curious, critical thinker.
As educators, it is our responsibility to nourish such inquisitiveness, and give young people resources to challenge beliefs and develop independence. This has been my personal vision and the reason I pioneered educational travel in Canada 45 years ago. For students, travelling with their peers on a guided tour can trigger revelations that could some day revolutionize the world.
Since 1963, Keating has evolved into a renowned educational institution. Today I’m both proud of our legacy and excited for our future as industry leaders. We have some exciting developments planned for the 2007-2008 school year.
Having partnered with international student tour company Explorica, who in the year 2000 introduced the use of comprehensive, online solutions for all aspects of the travel experience, Keating will incorporate an array of features to make planning a tour easier than ever.
Sincerely,
Chris Keating
