DAY ONE
Morning: Arrive at the Welland Canal. Constructed in 1829 to offer a safe route around Niagara Falls, the Canal lifts ships weighing over 30,000 tonnes. Afterwards, visit’s Brock’s Monument in Queenston, erected for the fallen general who saved Canada from being ‘overrun by its southern neighbour.’

Afternoon: Arrive in Niagara and enjoy an interactive walk through the streets with a Keating tour guide.

Check into the hotel. Visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.

Evening: Live the excitement of an Imax presentation on the giant screen. “Niagara; Miracles, Myths & Magic” allows students to travel back in time for a glimpse of Niagara’s 12,000 year history.

DAY TWO
Morning: Guided tour of Old Fort Erie, occupied by American forces during the War of 1812. Explore the Laura Secord Homestead where students review the nature of heroism and the responsibilities of citizenship.

Afternoon: Visit the Guinness World Records Museum and learn record-breaking facts.

Afterwards, Journey Behind the Falls. Far below the rim of the gorge, the mighty river
explodes after free-falling more than thirteen stories.

Evening: Enjoy a guided nature hike among the tumbled boulders of the Niagara Glen and experience an evolving ecosystem, which began 7,500 years ago as it was carved out of stone by the Niagara River.

DAY THREE
Morning: Visit the Butterfly Conservatory – a tropical rainforest setting where exquisite butterflies float in the warm, moist air and spread their iridescent wings on exotic flora.

Afterwards: Arrive at Marineland. Students enjoy performances by marine animals as well as amusement rides and interactive land animal displays.

Afternoon: Leave for home.
